How to study so it sticks

  • Test yourself. Closing the book and writing down what you remember works better than reading it again.
  • Spread it out. Coming back to a topic after a few days, then after a week, makes it last.
  • Past exams show what is asked and how; do them as if it counts.
  • Sleep is when memory settles. The night before matters more than one extra hour of study.

Rename "part 1" to "part 4" to your own topics, and add parts if you need more.
