Alternative to Any.do
An Any.do alternative that plans your day around your hours
Any.do brings tasks, a calendar and reminders together, with a free plan and Premium for more. It helps you decide what to do, but not whether it fits. Plenzu sets the time your tasks take against the hours you really have.

Why people look for an Any.do alternative
- Useful features sit behind Premium.
- A full list for today, with no sign of how many hours it adds up to.
- Overdue tasks that keep coming back and make each morning heavier.
- A wish for an app made and hosted in the EU.
What Plenzu does differently
Give tasks a duration, set your own hours per weekday, and a time bar shows planned time against them, with a buffer for the unexpected. The weekly planner shows each day with its own bar, so you spread work before a day overflows.
There is no red overdue list. Each morning Plenzu shows what was carried over, and you choose: today, move or let go. Everything, including the Kanban board, habits and the focus timer, is free for now.
When Any.do suits you better
If you want native apps on every device, a calendar that combines tasks and events, or plans for family and teams, Any.do offers more. Plenzu is a web app you can install, made for calm personal planning.
How to switch
- 1Create a free Plenzu account with your email.
- 2Set your hours per weekday in Settings.
- 3Add this week’s tasks with a rough duration. Leave old lists where they are for now.
- 4Plan one week in Plenzu and see whether your days feel calmer.
Questions
Is Plenzu cheaper than Any.do Premium?
Plenzu is completely free for now, with unlimited tasks and workspaces. A Pro plan of €39 a year is planned for later, and the free plan stays.
Does Plenzu have a daily planning moment like Any.do?
Yes. Each morning Plenzu shows what was carried over, and the Today page shows with a time bar whether your day fits.
Can I import from Any.do?
Not yet. Start with the tasks for the coming week; that is often a good moment to leave old tasks behind.
