A weekly planner that shows whether your week fits

Most weekly planners show days with tasks on them. Plenzu also shows how much time those tasks take against the hours you have each day. You see on Monday that Thursday is too full, while you can still do something about it.

What you see in the week view

  • Every day with its own time bar: planned time against the hours you have that day.
  • A total for the whole week, so you know whether the week as a whole fits.
  • A drawer with unplanned tasks: your inbox and deadlines that have no day yet.
  • Day, week and month views in the same Planner.

How to plan your week in a few minutes

  1. 1Set your hours once per weekday, for example 6 hours on Monday and 3 on Friday.
  2. 2Give tasks a rough duration, such as 30m or 2h. A guess is fine.
  3. 3Drag tasks from the drawer onto a day. The time bar shows straight away how full that day gets.
  4. 4Is a day amber? Drag a task to a quieter day, or change the hours for just that date.
  5. 5Want fixed times? Open the day and drag tasks into time blocks of 15 minutes.

Why a week view helps

A day plan alone hides the problem: today looks fine, but three big tasks are all due on Thursday. Looking at the week first lets busy days and quiet days balance out. That is also the heart of a good weekly review.

Plenzu never turns red. A full day turns amber, so you get a warning, not a telling-off.
