Feature
A Kanban board for your tasks, with your time in view
Some work is easier to follow as cards on a board than as a list. In Plenzu every workspace can be shown as a Kanban board. The cards are the same tasks you plan in your day, so the board and your day plan never drift apart.
How the board works
- Choose List or Board per workspace. Nothing is copied: the same tasks are only shown differently.
- A new board starts with To do, Doing and Done. Rename and move the columns, or add your own, up to 12.
- Drag a card to another column. Drop it on Done and the task is checked off.
- Done shows what was finished in the last 14 days, so the board stays tidy.
- On a phone or with a keyboard, use Move to column instead of dragging.
Good ways to use a board
- A project with stages, such as Idea, Writing, Review and Published for a blog.
- Keeping track of job applications, from vacancy to offer. The job search template sets this up for you.
- A sales pipeline or a content calendar: the template gallery has a ready-made board for both.
A board that still respects your time
Most Kanban tools only show where a task is. In Plenzu the same task also has a duration, a day and a place in your week, so a crowded Doing column also shows up as a full day in the weekly planner.
Questions
Is the Kanban board free?
Yes. Boards are part of the free plan, for every workspace.
Can I switch back to a list?
Yes, at any time. The board and the list show the same tasks, so nothing gets lost.
How many columns can a board have?
Up to 12. Name them after the stages of your own work.
