Getting started with Plenzu

Plenzu plans only what fits in your day. That starts with three simple habits: write a task down the moment you think of it, say roughly how long it takes, and check it off when it is done.

Add a task with quick add

Press Add task at the top of the menu, or the Q key anywhere in the app. Type the task in your own words. Plenzu picks out the details while you type and shows them as chips below the field.

  • A day: today, tomorrow, friday or next week
  • A duration: 15m, 1h or 1h30
  • A workspace: #garden-shed
  • A label: @calls
  • A priority: p1, p2 or p3

Open a task for the details

Click a task to open its details on the right. Here you pick a duration with one tap, set a deadline, add subtasks, notes, files, a reminder or a repeat. Everything saves by itself; close the panel when you are done.

A duration matters most. Tasks without one do not count towards your day, so Plenzu cannot warn you when the day is full.

Check it off

Click the circle in front of a task to check it off. It moves to Done today, and the ring at the top of Today counts along. Checked off by mistake? Press Undo in the message at the bottom.

Find your way around

  • Today: what you do today, with the time bar
  • Planner: your week, day by day
  • Inbox: new tasks that have no workspace yet
  • Workspaces: your projects and areas, such as Work or Garden shed
  • Search: press / to find any task or note

Try it in your own Plenzu
