Help
Habits, the focus timer and the matrix
Under Tools in the menu you find three helpers for days that need a bit more structure.
Keep up a habit
Open Habits and press New habit. Give it a name, an icon and the days it is for. Each habit shows the last seven days: tap a day to tick it off. Plenzu counts how many days in a row you kept it up, and History shows the months before. Your habits for today also appear on Today.
Focus with the timer
Open a task and press Focus, or choose Focus timer in the menu. You work for 25 minutes, then take a 5-minute break; after four rounds you get a longer break. The timer stays in the corner while you use the rest of the app. Pause, skip or stop it whenever you like, and change the lengths in Settings, under Planning.
Sort by what matters
The Matrix puts your open tasks in four boxes. Priority 1 and 2 count as important; a deadline within two days, or a planned day that has come, counts as urgent.
- Do first: important and urgent
- Plan: important, not urgent, so give it a day
- Keep short: urgent, not important, so do it quickly or hand it off
- Let go?: neither, so maybe it does not need doing at all
